Screenwriter at Self-employed (Sweden)
January 2007PRESENT - 2014: ALEX'S ODYSSEY (Screenplay/Book) under creation, based on a true story of ALEXANDER KAMEN, a Polish-Jew, exiled to a gulag in Siberia after the Red Army's invasion of Poland in 1939. Married his childhood sweetheart while prisoners in Siberia, his wife giving birth to a son prior to dying. Skilled at engineering and problem solving, while forced to work 12+ hour shifts he devised a contraption to feed the baby in his absence. The child became a pawn to control his much needed skills, accepted for training in the Soviet Army to fight the Nazi's, he volunteered to join a newly formed paratrooper division jumping behind enemy lines liberating Nazi concentration camps saving prisoners from execution by their captors before fleeing the onslaught of the Red Army, as the Nazi's retreated back to Germany during the latter months of WWII. At his last camp liberation he met Maria, who was to become his second wife, seeking the protection of the Allied forces invading from the west, they were granted citizenship by Sweden. Torn by the realization his decision to flee Russia's domination over his life meant he's likely never see his son Leonid again, as he'd been transported to one of the many non-existent (unmapped) towns and villages in Russia, where child labor was used to produce products of war. With the help of the Red Cross his son Leonid was found, but would remain behind the Iron Curtain until after the fall of the USSR, when they were finally reunited in Sweden in 1989, after 47 years. 2012 - MIDNIGHT GLOW (Screenplay) - Two couples find their marital differences might be just the tip of the iceberg once an exotic drug from their holiday island location begins to play into their relationships in this erotically charged drama.
